In Platja d'Aro, we find the large beach with a length of 2.5 km, ideal to spend the day and take a walk through the commercial center of the town. On the final north side of this beach begins the coastal path that reaches Sant Antoni de Calonge. Walking this way you can visit very pleasant coves.
La Cala Rovira is one of the widest on this path, with large rocks that delimit it.
Cala Sa Cova is a small cove where fishermen used to leave their boats.
Cala Belladona and Cala Cap Roig recognized by the great rock or islet that you will see in the middle of these two coves. A great place to dive.
Cala Roques Planes, located on a rocky headland, will surprise you with the varied shapes of the rocks.
In Sant Antoni de Calonge, we find Torre Valentina beach and Es Monestri beach, ideal for families.
In Palamós the large beach connects with the beaches of its neighboring town, Sant Antoni de Calonge. It is a long beach that ends with the fishing port. Past the fishing and sports ports, in Palamós we find coves of great beauty.
Cala Margarita and Cala S'Alguer are coves where fishermen formerly had their huts and left their fishing utensils and boats there. We can still see those huts that make these coves charming.
Cala La Fosca, recognized by the dark rock found in the center of the cove. It is a cove of fine sand where there are restaurants and beach bars. If you take the coastal path heading north, you can visit the Castle of Sant Esteve de la Fosca, from the 13th century.
La Platja de Castell, is one of the few virgin coves on the Costa Brava. It has been kept without constructions and in a natural state.
After this beach we will find a succession of coves of high scenic and natural value: Cala el Crit, Cala Corbs, Cala Canyers and Cala Estreta.
In the municipality of Palafrugell, the maritime centers of Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu, are fishing villages that have maintained their charm.
Begur is one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Brava and its coves are not indifferent either.
Sa Riera beach is one of the largest in the town and has magnificent views of the Medes Islands.
The Cala de la Illa Roja, known for the large islet of red stone, is a cove with large cliffs that could be the setting for a movie.
Platja Fonda, Cala d'en Malaret, Cala n'Estasia and Cala de Aiguablava, are a number of others and are ideal for diving and maintain their air of authenticity.
Cala Sa Tuna does not have sand but stones but it is one of the most beautiful. There you will find a beautiful nucleus of white houses, formerly fishing.
